Liam Rosenior has confirmed that highly rated youngster Estevão will not feature in this weekend’s fixtures as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The manager explained that the club is taking a cautious approach with the Brazilian talent to avoid any risk of aggravating the problem.
“Estevão will not play this weekend again, he is still a little bit further away,” Rosenior said.
He added that the medical staff and coaching team are prioritizing the player’s long-term fitness due to the nature of the injury.
“We want to be careful with Estevão because of the nature of his hamstring injury.”
The young attacker remains an exciting prospect, but the club appears determined to ensure he returns only when he is fully fit and ready to contribute.
